Garden ponds are important for wildlife and are an attractive addition to any garden no matter the size. This course, led by wildlife pond expert ‘Pete The Pond’ will start with an illustrated talk about the animals and plants that use garden ponds. Then Pete will guide you through choosing the materials and equipment required to build a pond. In the afternoon we will visit a local garden where Pete will be able to demonstrate pond building in action – and you’ll pick up some vital tips on how to make a healthy, functional pond which is a haven for wildlife.
