Have you ever wondered if you have what it takes to become a witch or wizard?  Then put on your cloak, grab a broomstick, wave your magic wand and transport yourself to Borde Hill Garden to find out.

 

Daily Activities 11am to 3pm

Can you help our little Witch, Petronella, who made a mistake practicing her spells and turned her owl into stone?  Follow the spellbinding trail to find the magic word that will bring her owl back to life.

Saturday 21st – Professor Cragcrangle’s Creepy Crafts.  Come and see Professor Cragcrangle to make some creepy crafts to take home ready for Halloween.

 

Sunday 22nd – Haunted Mansion Adventures with Froggle Parties.  Timed shows 11am, 12:30 & 2pm.  Explore the imaginary haunted mansion to go in search of legendary secret treasures.  A high energy show including magic, puppetry, comedy, bubbles, party games, balloon modelling and prizes!  Suitable for all ages.

 

Monday 23rd – Tomfoolery.  Timed shows 11am, 12:30 & 2pm.  Laughter is guaranteed with Tomfoolery’s Halloween inspired party games, dancing, magic, balloons and more.  Suitable for all ages.

 

Tuesday 24th – RepTylers – Get hands on with some amazing reptiles.  (Children must be accompanied by an adult) Suitable for all ages.

 

Wednesday 25th – Sublime Science.  Timed shows 11am & 2pm.  Concoct the perfect mix of spectacular science experiments and hands-on activities, including fizzing potions, wacky noises and gooey slime making.

 

Thursday 26th – Face Painting by Busydays. Suitable for all ages.

 

Friday 27th – Owls About Town, Get up close and personal with some of the most majestic creatures in the world. Suitable for all ages (Children must be accompanied by an adult).

 

Saturday 28th – Poppy’s School for Witches & Wizards.  Shows at 11am, 12 & 1pm.  A fully interactive theatre show for the family, especially great for ages 4-7 (but all welcome!)

 

Sunday 29th – Professor Cragcrangle’s Creepy Crafts (11am-2pm) get creative and make some fun and creepy Arts and Craft pieces to take home to the family.  Suitable for all ages.

 

Pumpkin Carving (2pm-4pm) Carve your own spooky masterpiece in the haunted marquee, ready to add to our ribbon of lit pumpkins threading through the garden during our Pumpkin Glow event, between 4-5pm.  (Children must be accompanied by an adult when carving their creations).  A small charge will apply for this activity.

 

Pumpkin Glow (4pm-5pm) Join our Pumpkin Glow event, where we will attempt to create a record for the longest line of carved pumpkins. Carve your own pumpkin during the afternoon, or bring along your own creative masterpiece from home to add to our line of lit pumpkins.  Our judges will select the best pumpkin design and the winning witch or wizard will receive a £25 Amazon voucher.  To be part of our amazing trail and to be in with a chance of winning a prize, please bring your pumpkins by 4pm, with judging taking place at 4:30pm.

 

Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st – Get Crafty – come along and make some creepy crafts to take home for Halloween.  Show your crafty creations to the Borde Hill Witch to see if they are spooktastic!

 

Hungry Tummy?  Creep along to the Slug & Slime Shack for a Ghost burger, Witches Hog Sausage in a Bat Bap, Vampire Ring Pizza and Devils Finger fries.  Lots of hot and cold brews for the little witches and wizards to enjoy.  Available Tuesday 24th to Sunday 29th October.

 

Don’t forget to visit The Little Witches House in the garden for a ghostly delight or potion, serving a warming menu including homemade pumpkin soup straight from the cauldron, blood punch, spider cakes and many other Halloween themed options. Cash only.
