Date(s) - 13-October-2018 to 14-October-2018
Wakehurst’s 500 acres of wild gardens and woodlands are transformed in autumn. The hedgerows are heaving, and the crops and seeds are ripe for collecting. Come experience the bounty of the season at the family-friendly Bountiful Botanics weekend 13 & 14 October.
Bountiful Botanics has something for all ages, but especially the young at heart. Children will love having a go at tree climbing, following the scarecrow trail and foraging for seeds in the woods. They’ll have a chance to find out more about one of the most bio-diverse spots on earth with a behind the scenes tour of the Millennium Seed Bank.
Adults will find lots to do as well, with a variety of workshops to get involved in, wild cooking demonstrations and some forest Chi for those who want to relax in the woods. There are also plenty of food and drink stalls to keep everyone going all day, as well as live music to keep you entertained!
Entry to Bountiful Botanics is free with an adult garden admission ticket. Children 16 and under go free.
