There are so many layers to Tracy’s Little Gift Shop, which have built up over the years.

The retail side has always focused on sustainability, with the eco candles being best sellers at gift fairs and locally at Bella June Flowers in Hassocks, The Stables Collaboration (located at The Sportsman Pub ) & Tea Thyme in Hassocks.

Supporting local businesses is a work joy for me and has seen the growing success of the monthly Mantra Meet Ups; held at a local venue with no booking required and no fee to pay.
The relaxed networking Meet Ups encourage small businesses to collaborate and support each other.

About Tracy

Like so many of us, Tracy had seen the reports about plastic pollution and the climate crisis, and like so many of us she felt entirely overwhelmed by it all. But her wake-up call was back in 2018. “I had a reaction to a skin product,” she explains, “and I suddenly realised that the planet must be having a similar reaction too. I had to do something, even if it was something small.”

Tracy began cutting back on plastics, chemicals, and unnecessary spending, not just at home, but also in her gift business. With an ethos of planet before profits, she started scaling back to sell solely sustainable and eco-friendly products. Now Tracy takes her message of small-scale sustainability with her wherever she goes, including local markets and makers’ fairs across the South East, another of her passions.
