At Newtimber Church BN6 9BT, we have developed a whole summer of woodland and church exploration activity sheets which will be available for anyone with children to come for a fun free couple of hours throughout the summer. It’s really a free holiday club run by parents with crib sheets and extension activities for different age groups.
We invite parents and grandparents to bring their children along and have an afternoon of exploration inside and outside the church. The church is ALWAYS open, so families can come any time they wish!
* it’s a safe place for children to explore / no roads nearby
* there’s a loo
* it’s a perfect place for picnics
* no parking problems (off road along the lane)
* it’s close to the A23 just off the A281, so not far to travel
* the activity sheets and materials are completely free, and can be taken home
* they will range in interest for 4 – 10 year olds
* In all, there will be 2 new activities sheets in April / 2 new activity sheets in May / 2 new activity sheets in June and through July & August 8 more activity sheets will be provided.
