Borde Hill Garden Wellness Welly Walk – a Review

The Wellness Welly Walk at Borde Hill Garden is easily the best thing we have done so far this year. Admittedly, there wasn’t a whole lot of competition; our second best outing was to the pet food store, but the combination of huge drifts of spring flowers, a series of Yoga poses to have a go at, a picnic on the grass and sunny weather made the day extra special after such a rubbish winter. We even saw a comma butterfly and it stayed still long enough to be photographed!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The focus of this spring’s garden trail is reflection, tuning in to your emotions and enjoying time with your family, and the booklet to accompany the trail is, as always, full of short fun activities suitable for all ages and brilliant, colourful illustrations. But don’t take my word for it, my ten year old actually volunteered to write down what he thought of the day (he must have had a lovely time):
