Borde Hill Garden between Haywards Heath and Balcombe is perfect for an Easter Trail as there are so many great hiding places, and it’s not such a long trail that little legs get tired out. The activity booklet to accompany the trail provides plenty of additional fun and the actual Easter Bunny made an appearance to present the full-sized eggs once the secret password had been discovered.
The café has ditched the plastic in their cups, plates and straws, so you can enjoy a guilt-free coffee en route (or take your own coffee cup).
For a small additional charge there are also two Easter crafts to colour and make, and you can dress up with Easter-themed props and take a selfie with Bertram in the craft marquee.
The adventure playground and zip-wire have moved inside the garden now, which makes a lot more sense, so you no longer have to trek down the side of the car park to reach them.
Visit the Borde Hill website for further details on Bertram Bunny’s Easter Adventure.
