From September 2017, the Nursery at Cumnor House Sussex in Danehill is providing flexible childcare from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, for 50 weeks of the year – at the school’s idyllic new nursery building which opened in January.
With floor to ceiling windows overlooking the South Downs, this is a fabulous environment in which children learn through play. As well as being taught by specialist teachers in music, dance, drama, swimming and sport; the Nursery children have use of the school’s extensive facilities including an indoor swimming pool, two theatres, a sports hall and 14 playing fields. Outdoor learning takes place in the Nursery playground and Woodpeckers Forest School.
Fees are priced competitively at under £55 per day for care from 8am to 6pm, with Early Years funding applied. This includes all required snacks, hot meals and resources and the Government’s full 30 hours Early Years Free Entitlement is being offered.
The Nursery is open to all families within the local community, whether they plan for their children to continue into Cumnor Pre-Prep or to join state Primary school.
