NCT is celebrating the success of its latest practitioner, Jane Williams, to qualify as a Baby Massage Teacher, which means that we will be able a provide a wider range of postnatal activities for new parents in East Grinstead and the surrounding area.

Before babies are able to speak, or even respond to sounds and sights, they actually communicate with the world around them through touch and at an NCT Baby Massage course and you will learn a sequence of baby massage strokes that you can use at home or out and about, to suit you and your baby. Classes are suitable from eight weeks after birth.

Jane has been running antenatal courses for the last 3 years and is passionate about supporting new parents on their journey from pregnancy into parenthood and beyond. Jane completed additional studies to become a fully qualified Baby Massage Teacher during 2016 and started teaching Baby Massage in the Caterham area in February. She is delighted to now be offering this service to parents in East Grinstead and is holding her first course in June. “As an NCT Antenatal Teacher I see many nervous expectant parents come through my classes and it’s rewarding for me to see them at the postnatal session looking happy and confident. Providing baby massage classes gives me the opportunity to carry on that journey of support with parents and not only teach them massage skills, but to also watch them interact and bond with their babies. I thoroughly enjoyed baby massage with my children, as it was an opportunity for us both to relax together. Looking forward to my first course in June”.

NCT is renowned for its range of postnatal courses favoured by parents with babies and young children in their thousands.
