Mini VAULT Festival returns 30 January – 5 March 2016

Mini Works present Mini VAULT Festival, a spectacular family event for under 11s in the tunnels under Waterloo StatMINI VAULT 2016-1ion. The festival weekends remain free entry, with a diverse programme including theatre, comedy, storytelling, live music and a facilitated soft play-space.
A magical day out is promised with each festival day packed with a range of activities, workshops and shows. Pirates of the Carabina open the festival with breath-taking circus, Tim Spooner uses physics and puppetry to reveal the inner workings of a laboratory and Puzzle will delight under 3s with contemporary dance from Lithuania. The line-up also includes celebrated poets Roger McGough, Simon Panrucker and Deanna Rodger.
Workshops range from Imagination Workouts to Print Making, and free shows include puppetry, Keep Fit Fandango, an interactive beatbox gig and Mrs H & The Singalong Band.
The 2016 festival also sees the premiere of brand new work. Award-winning physical theatre performer Trygve Wakenshaw (Nautilus, Squidboy and Kraken) premieres his first ever show for children, a Mini Works commission, A Pony For Your Thoughts.
In addition to the Big Fish Little Fish family rave, Mini Works join with the notorious Rumpus Party crew to launch the first ever Mini Rumpus with live music, dazzling circus performers and an under the sea theme.
Families are invited to stay and play all day with ongoing art and craft activities, pop-up cafes, face painting, interactive installations, fun games and more!
