Amanda Warwick Dance Arts pupil picked for London show

Ella Machtynger, 11, a local student of Amanda Warwick Arts and St Teresa’s School Effingham. (agent Fulham based Creative Kidz).

Ella is very excited to have been chosen from many aspiring young actors auditioning in early August for a part in “the Den”. Ella was specifically chosen as one of the youngest members of the cast “youngers”.

Ella will not only act / dance as one of the core team but will play the flute as part of the small musical team taking part. Ella receives her dance and vocal training Arts Amanda Warwick Dance Arts, reaching Grade 4 level in Jazz, RAD Ballet and Tap dance and

Grade 6 singing where she is a distinction category pupil.

 

The Den is an exciting new “site specific” production with the audience participating and experiencing the production throughout.

It is set 90 years after the London riots, when laws have been brought in to limit childbirth. The plot revolves around children who live in the Den, a place of solace for children away from the corruption of adults. Written and produced by Gbemisola Ikumelo 

It is supported by the Barbican and Arts Council England. It takes place at Swan Wharf on 10/11/12th Sept performances at 2.30 and 7.30pm.
