What’s in space? Can we go there? Can we see it? How big is it? Is there anybody there? So many questions! Come and find out some of the answers by doing fascinating hands-on activities.

Half day workshop (either 10.30am-1.00pm or 2.00pm-4.30pm) for 6-8 Year olds.

Scientists know a lot about the Universe but there is also a lot they don’t know. This workshop will help you find out how scientists learn about the Universe, what is in the Milky Way, which is our own galaxy and what is beyond the Milky Way.

We will be doing some make and take activities as well as finding out how we can see or maybe not see deep sky objects such as black holes!

Please note that the workshop is for children only unless they require one to one support.

Booking essential please phone 01323 832731

The £12.75 cost applies to the half fay workshop only.

Admission to the Science Centre before or after the workshop can be purchased at a Special Discounted rate of £6 pp when pre-booked at the same time. Excluding twilight workshops.
