Half day workshop for 6 – 8 year olds. What does it take to become an astronaut? We will investigate with some exciting activities to discover the challenges faced when reaching space.

  • This is a fabulous, fun workshop aimed at encouraging anyone who is curious about space, the Universe and astronauts.

    Join us to investigate the ‘little to giant’ steps taken to becomimg an astronaut and working on the International Space Station. We will be doing experiments exploring the senses and discussing the effects of microgravity in space. You will learn the importance of team work and how to control robot arms. We will also be thinking about what is in our Universe.

    We will share ideas how science has helped people launch into space and what this has achieved.

    Please  note that the workshop is for children only. We actively encourage adults to leave their children with us unless they need one to one support.
