Exciting news for working parents in Surrey!<\/p>\n
From September 2025<\/strong>, eligible families will be able to access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week<\/strong> (for 38 weeks a year) for children aged 9 months to 4 years<\/strong>\u2014doubling the current 15-hour entitlement. This means more flexibility, more choice, and more time for families to balance work and childcare.<\/p>\n You\u2019re eligible if you and your partner (if you live together) meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n You are working<\/strong>, or on sick leave, annual leave, maternity, shared parental, or paternity leave<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n You earn at least \u00a3195 a week<\/strong>, but no more than \u00a3100,000 a year before tax<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n You have a National Insurance number<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n If you live with a partner, they must also earn within the same limits<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n \ud83d\udca1 Even if you\u2019re already receiving the 15 hours, you can simply reconfirm your details<\/strong> and provide your provider with your updated eligibility code. If you don\u2019t currently receive funding, you can apply online via gov.uk<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Want to check your eligibility?
