The Light opens action-packed entertainment\u00a0venue in Redhill\u00a0this weekend\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>The Light\u00a0kickstarted their opening launch in Redhill with a bang as the entertainment venue opened its doors on Friday 16<\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0June.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>With over 11 exhilarating activities and a premium six screen cinema, The Light marked its opening weekend with a visit from the Mayor of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead, Councillor\u00a0Eddy Humphreys. The Light will bring families and groups together \u2013 embracing the Mayor\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0theme for the year of \u2018Togetherness\u2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The opening was met with huge anticipation from the local community with a queue of over 100 people waiting <\/span>for The Light to open its doors.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To celebrate the opening, The Light is offering \u00a35 discounted cinema tickets across all films until <\/span>Thursday 29<\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0June <\/span>plus\u00a020% off all food on The Kitchen menu. The Light also<\/span>\u00a0has plenty of events planned over their<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>opening weekend with live music, face painters <\/span>and entertainers <\/span>to surprise and delight guests\u00a0plus\u00a0raise awareness throughout the town.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Guests will be able to kick back and relax in a range of luxury seating with wingback armchairs, electric recliners, <\/span>loungers\u00a0and sofas\u00a0and watch <\/i><\/span>The Flash, <\/i>Greatest Days, <\/i>Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse\u00a0and <\/i>Transformers: Rise of the Beasts\u00a0from opening.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The summer <\/span>doesn\u2019t\u00a0disappoint with a fantastic line up of\u00a0upcoming\u00a0films and live events that will be available at The Light including <\/i><\/span>Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,\u00a0<\/i>Elemental, <\/i>Mission Impossible \u2013 Dead Reckoning Part One,\u00a0<\/i>Barbie\u00a0and Oppenheimer\u00a0as well as the Royal Opera House\u2019s<\/i>\u00a0Sleeping\u00a0Beauty\u00a0and National Theatre\u00a0Live\u2019s\u00a0<\/i>GOOD\u00a0and <\/i>Oklahoma\u00a0starring Hugh Jackman.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Light\u00a0is also raising funds for its\u00a0local charity partnership with\u00a0Stripey Stork, the Surrey baby bank which collects donations of clothes, toys and essential items for babies and children before\u00a0rehoming them with local families experiencing hardship.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Light\u2019s opening weekend will allow visitors to experience the wide range of exciting activities including axe-throwing, bowling, duckpin bowling, mini-golf, a climbing arena, interactive darts, shuffleboard, karaoke, curling, an arcade\u00a0and American pool. Providing\u00a0guests with the opportunity for all ages to engage with a variety of\u00a0unique, fun\u00a0and competitive digital games.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With a team of professionals available to help people play, The Light is delighted to introduce axe-throwing to Redhill for the first time \u2013 an activity which is quickly becoming popular across the UK and an excellent opportunity to compete against friends and colleagues at corporate team-building events.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
