Children will be able to collect a stamp with each hour they enjoy on the farm from 1<sup>st<\/sup> November 2021 until 30<sup>th<\/sup> March 2022, and those who manage to reach 100 stamps, will win a free family visit with drinks for adults and treat for the children.*<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicola Henderson, CEO at Godstone Farm comments:<\/strong> \u201cNot only have we launched a special Winter Warmer Pass for families \u2013 which gives unlimited weekday term-time access to the farm \u2013 but our <strong><em>100 Hours on the Farm<\/em><\/strong> campaign is designed to encourage families to embrace the great outdoors and the benefits of a day spent in our 45 acres of Surrey hills countryside with abundant fresh air.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a sense that the Great British public have got a lot hardier over that last year, with waterproofs and wellies regularly at hand, thanks to the series of lockdowns we have experienced; and perhaps one fortunate bi-product of that is recognising how good the great outdoors can be for our children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The team at Godstone Farm firmly subscribe to the theory that \u2018there\u2019s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes\u2019, so even if the heavens have opened, there\u2019s so much to do. The animals still need to be fed, the pigs will be taking their daily exercise, and the ponies winter coats will need a good stroke. In addition, as part of the admission, each Monday and Friday there is storytime and craft making at the Mini Treks and Trails session \u2013 and not forgetting puddles which are made for jumping in!<\/p>\n<p><strong>When asking some of the team what their favourite things to do at Godstone, whatever-the-weather, they said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mike our Gardener says, <em>\u201cIt\u2019s at this time of year that I\u2019m sowing potatoes for next year, but they\u2019re also a perfect winter warmer for a lunchtime pitstop in the restaurant.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Rosie our Operations Manager says, \u201c<em>Our Highland cows, Heidi and Hettie \u2013 they are made for Scottish weather and I\u2019m always inspired by their warm coats, which reminds me that a warm coat can take you anywhere!\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Carina, Events Co-ordinator says: <em>\u201cOur new meerkats provides a lot of entertainment. They are very attentive little creatures and are especially good at patrolling their enclosure.\u201d <\/em><\/li>\n<li>Emma, Visitor Experience Manager says: \u201c<em>Our new dinosaur trail is my favourite spot on the farm. Seven dinosaurs can be found hiding under the canopy of our woodland trail, with lots of fun facts about each one!\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Henderson adds:<\/strong> \u201cOf course, there are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy a warm Barista-style coffee and lunch in our new courtyard restaurant or enjoy a heart-warming cuddle with the bunnies in the petting barn, or get little hearts and lungs racing in the play barn.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>If you think you can clock-up 100 Hours at Godstone Farm this winter, simply collect your stamp-collection kit at the gates.
