It really is never too early to book!

Redhill’s Harlequin Theatre and Cinema has announced that Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall will join the star line-up of this year’s magical family pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs playing the role of Snow White’s handsome Prince.

Jai fast became a firm favourite with millions of viewers, gaining a legion of fans for his unique classical renditions of pop hits and ultimately going on to win the fifth series of the popular TV talent contest with an emotional rendition of the Josh Groban hit “To Where You Are”. His powerful vocals secured his victory and a coveted slot at the 2011 Royal Variety Performance.

After taking centre stage for the Britain’s Got Talent tour, playing to thousands at some of the biggest venues throughout the UK, Jai signed to Simon Cowell’s music label Syco and went on to release his debut album Believe to critical and popular acclaim.

Pantomime Producer Paul Holman said: “Redhill audiences are in for a real treat this Christmas. Jai has it all, with charm, charisma and a singing voice to melt even the Wicked Queen’s cold heart!”

Jai joins the already announced Right Honourable Star of Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Big Brother, Ann Widdecombe as The Wicked Queen and Redhill’s returning pantomime favourites, Neil Wheatley, Simon Bashford and Abigail Welford.

This year’s production promises to be more spectacular than ever featuring all of the traditional elements of pantomime combined with dazzling scenery and costumes, bucket loads of laughter and a stellar cast.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs at the Harlequin Theatre and Cinema, Redhill from Friday 7 December to Monday 31 December 2018.
