Following an announcement last week from Mrs Susan Rutherford, the Chairman of Governors at Lingfield Notre Dame School in Surrey, the name of the School will be changing to Lingfield College.
The School has come a long way from the all-girls’ Convent it was when the nuns left in 1987, and it is now a dynamic, progressive HMC co-educational day school of nearly 1000 pupils aged between 2½ to 18.
Headmaster, Richard Bool said that the decision had been taken after many discussions and he was delighted to be leading the School forward to the next phase. He confirmed that the Senior School will be known as Lingfield College and the Junior School as Lingfield Prep.
