Wheee! Lakeside’s International children’s theatre and dance festival returns
Saturday 25 May – Sunday 2 June 2013
The annual Wheee! Children’s Theatre and Dance Festival returns to Lakeside this year with a fun-filled week of interactive activities and performances from around the world for the whole family.
This year promises to be as entertaining as ever with highlights including the Architects of Air luminarium in Highfields Park, an exhibition of puppets and machines built by Marc Parrett, a miniature comedy theatre performance about a rabbit escaped from prison and more!
And of course the festival wouldn’t be complete without the free Wheee! Family Weekend in the park. Look out for Pangottic Circus in the amphitheatre, Little Cauliflower’s The Machine, and Pear Shape Productions running riot in the park, together with lots of Make and Do activities and workshops on both days.
Save the dates and look out for further information in the Lakeside ON brochure out in March.
