Exciting times ahead for Hyson Green Library

Exciting times ahead for Hyson Green Library

You may be aware of the changes that are happening to the Hyson Green Library Service (NG7).

In brief, Nottingham City Council plans to move the Service currently housed on Gregory Boulevard (next to the New Art Exchange) to the Mary Potter Centre where it can benefit from improved facilities.

This move means there is an exciting opportunity for the old Library building to take on a new community or creative function, and enhance the cultural offer of Hyson Green.

ArtReach (www.artreach.biz) is working with New Art Exchange to explore the future use of this building, and better understand the role it could play in the development of the area.

A survey has been created, particularly intended for users of the Hyson Green Library, and we would value users contributing to the process. However, we would value contribution from any Nottingham City Library User who has the time to complete the survey

There will be a prize draw from all returned surveys for the chance to win £50 in Asda vouchers – so make sure you leave your email address!
