On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, there will be ‘crafty corner’ for everyone to enjoy. Children can relax, and express themselves before or after enjoying a round of adventure golf. There are eggs to decorate and be as creative as you like. Big kids can join in too.
If you are ‘shell’ shocked at your adventure golf performance, there is face painting to raise your Easter spirits. Pay £2 to have your face painted with all proceeds going to Mencap, the leading UK charity for people with a learning disability.
We ‘eggs’pect to see lots of families ‘hop’ on down to The Lost City on the 20th and 21st April, for a feel good family event and to meet fellow adventure golfers.
The Lost City adventure golf is located in the Cornerhouse basement; it is the first indoor course of its kind in the East Midlands. Owner, Lane Scott has invested £1m and the people of Nottingham have been queuing up to ‘putt’ their adventure golf skills to the test.
Lane Scott says “We hope to see many people enjoying their Easter weekend at The Lost City. It’s great fun whatever the weather, we have face painting, egg decorating, a fully licenced bar to enjoy and not to mention adventure golf. More importantly we’ll be raising money for charity, as well as providing a fun-filled time for everyone.”
The Lost City adventure golf features two 18-hole courses with dramatic interactive features, such as talking statues and musical landscaping. Towering ancient walls complete with animated snakes and moving rocks transport players into a lost world of epic adventure, where they can discover their inner ‘Indiana Jones’ – and test their putting skills at the same time.
