The Creative Quarter is calling for you to get involved in shaping the future direction for this great area. And are hosting an Open House to hear your opinions on Friday 28 March, 10 am to 7 pm at Edin’s Natural Kitchen on Goosegate in Hockley.
This event has been set up as a drop-in opportunity to meet the team, find out what’s going on in the area and contribute ideas to the vision and action plan for The Creative Quarter from 2014 – 23, and so help shape the next 10 years of The CQ.
This is your chance to pop in, meet the team and contribute your ideas to the vision and the action plan for the Creative Quarter from 2014 – 23. This is your change to help shape the next ten years of the Creative Quarter. The event will be informal and fun. There will be things to do – it won’t just be a talking shop.
Contributions are invited on creating a better place to live, work, play, and visit. Have you seen great ideas in other cities and want to share them? Do you want to contribute but not sure how? And what do you think are the biggest priorities for immediate action? Then come along and contribute.
Kathy McArdle, Chief Operations Officer of The Creative Quarter company says: ‘It’s really important that we harness the wealth of expertise, creativity and innovation that exists in the area by pooling ideas. Having met with so many businesses and individuals in the area and the city, I know that people really care.
“This Open House event is a way of collecting, developing and recoding people’s aspirations for this great part of the city. We want to use the event to share the draft Plan for the next ten years and we want people’s input. I urge you all to bring along solutions, suggestions and dreams to strengthen the area in real terms.There will be lots of fun and interesting activities to help form and shape ideas so do come along, all in the cozy and comfortable surroundings of Edin’s Natural Kitchen.’
