Hollygirt School Is Extending Its Family And Will Be Taking Boys Through to Year 11

From September 2014, Hollygirt Independent School in Nottingham will be going fully co-educational. For the first time in the School’s 137 year history, Hollygirt will be admitting boys and girls from Nursery, through to Year 11.

This decision comes after a full consultation process with our trustees, staff, pupils and parents, HollygirtSchool will become fully co-educational from September 2014. This builds on our success with boys in our EYFS and Key Stage One classes.

We are excited to offer boys as well as girls the opportunity to benefit from the high quality holistic education for which Hollygirt is renowned. We are proud of our record of academic success and value the progress of each child. Our emphasis is on nurturing individual potential and encouraging all to do their best.

Our community is formed by children and their families. All the staff know each child by name, and personality. Every child is encouraged to join in, experiencing far-ranging opportunities on their educational journey. Hollygirt is a school with integrity.

“We are proud of our school’s traditional values, family atmosphere and strong discipline. We offer the very best pastoral support within our small classes. You can trust us with your children’s education.” Mrs Hutley, Headmistress of HollygirtSchool.
