East & South Notts and Nottingham

Nottingham’s mums deserve a break!

Nottingham’s mums deserve a break!

Being a mum is fantastic but also a lot of hard work! So it’s no wonder that many mums across the country look forward to Mother’s Day, a day to honor mothers and other mother figures, such as grandmothers, stepmothers and mother-in-laws.

While breakfast in bed and the odd handmade card may be lovely, what mums really want is a little break from their little darlings! So on Saturday 29th March, in honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday, 30th March, Razzamataz Nottingham is going to entertain your little ones while you can have a few precious hours to yourself.

Razzamataz Nottingham is part of the Dragons’ Den backed part-time theatre school business that won an investment from Duncan Bannatyne. There are schools across the country from Ayr in Scotland through to Plymouth in the South and all schools are planning on offering this special treat for hard working mums.

The Nottingham branch is run every Saturday 10am- 1pm and will be offering a FREE session at this time to children and young people who would like to try out the classes in dance, drama and singing. The offer is open on a first come first served basis and it is advised you apply early to register your interest.

“We are really looking forward to giving the hard working mums of Nottingham a break, while their children have lots of fun with us at Razzamataz,” says Shanley, Principal of Razzamataz Nottingham. “We very much hope that mums get a chance to have a really relaxing couple of hours off enjoying some precious pampering time or just simply getting to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea in peace and quiet!”

What’s more, by attending Razzamataz, children will have lots of opportunities to make their mums very proud by taking part in many performance opportunities and making new friends. “Watching your child perform is a joyous experience,” adds Shanley. “We believe that being given the chance to perform is so important for all children to help build their confidence and self-belief. The performing arts is incredibly beneficial to help young people build up positive communication skills that will enhance every area of their lives at home, school and beyond.”

As one of the fastest growing part-time theatre schools in the UK, Razzamataz offers a wide range of performing arts styles for children age 4-18 including current trends that are accessible to children and teenagers. Razzamataz classes consist of dance, drama and singing and the curriculum covers the whole of the performing arts, from classic West End musical theatre to street dance and pop singing.
