Gedling Borough Council’s summer holiday events programme continues on Wednesday (14 August) with one of the largest play days in the borough taking place in Arnold’s Arnot Hill Park.
The Arnold Play Day, which attracts nearly 5,000 people every year, will be hosting an afternoon of children’s activities and entertainment including a petting zoo and a bouncy castle.
Children can also get involved in arts and crafts, BMX and skateboarding sessions, sports games and a rocket making workshop at the free event organised by Gedling Play Forum and Gedling Borough Council.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Nottingham Voicebox, a local group who help support local talent to gain the confidence to perform in front of the public.
The event starts at 1pm and is expected to finish at 4pm. Parents must be in attendance at all times. For further information people can contact the council on 0115 901 3602 or visit www.gedling.gov.uk/leisure
