Volunteers from E-On are taking part in a “Give and Gain” day organised with Gedling Borough Council to help improve the grounds at the Japanese Water Gardens at the Arboretum at Bestwood Country Park on Friday 17 May.

The 20 strong group will be getting their hands dirty as part of the Give & Gain Day 2013, the UK’s only national day of employee volunteering. Thousands of employees across the UK, and globally, will be donating their time to the communities they live or work in by taking part in this day of action.

All are welcome to come and take part. The group will be meeting in the car park at Bestwood Country Park Hotel from 10am and the work should be finished around 3pm with a break for lunch.

For more information or if people would like to take part in the volunteering event, contact Gedling Borough Council on 0115 901 3963.
