Camp Beaumont, the UK\u2019s longest-running provider of day camps in the school holidays, is offering 10,000 free places this summer to Ukrainian children who have come to the UK to escape the war.<\/p>\n

Camp Beaumont is partnering with Mail Force, the charity arm of the Daily Mail, to offer the fully funded places to any Ukrainian child aged 5-16 years at 40 camps across London and the Southeast.<\/p>\n

The war has forced more than 1.8 million children to leave Ukraine and relocate their lives in several countries including the UK. Participation in holiday activity day camps such as\u00a0Camp Beaumont<\/a>\u00a0will these give Ukrainian children the chance for some much-needed fun and adventure this summer, with opportunities to learn something new, practise English and make new friends.<\/p>\n

The daily camps, which run Monday to Friday, are packed with creative, sporting and adventure activities including archery, arts and crafts, tennis, superhero academy, aqua Olympics and much more.<\/p>\n

Each available place is for five days, and each child is eligible for up to two weeks at Camp Beaumont.<\/p>\n

Jof Gaughan, Executive Director, at Camp Beaumont, said:<\/b>\u00a0\u201cCamp Beaumont offers a great environment for Ukrainian children in the UK, who\u2019ve been through so much, to have fun this summer. These children have been forced to leave their homes and settle somewhere new without a clear understanding of what their future holds. Whatever we can do to help them grow in confidence and enjoy themselves is key. There are so many activities for children to enjoy ranging from outdoor sports to arts and crafts sessions \u2013 and they might even get to try Quidditch!\u201d<\/p>\n

Camp Beaumont sites are based across London, Middlesex, Kent, Buckinghamshire, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire and Hertfordshire.<\/p>\n

Ark Putney Academy, Berkhamsted Prep, Bishop Challoner School, Chinthurst School, Chiswick School, Christ\u2019s School, Claremont Fan Court School, Colfe\u2019s School, Cottesmore School, Croydon High School, Hampton Prep School, Harrow School, Hollyfield School, Kent College, King\u2019s College School, King\u2019s School Rochester, Leighton Park School, Lingfield College, Maidstone Grammar, Mill Hill School, Queenswood School, Reigate St Mary\u2019s School, RGS Guildford, Skern Lodge, St Albans Girls School, St Augustine\u2019s Priory, St George\u2019s School, St Helen\u2019s School, St John\u2019s Beaumont School, St Michael\u2019s Prep School, The Holt School, The Latymer School, Tiffin School, UCS Sports Ground, Wallington\u202f\u00a0County Grammar School, Watford Grammar School, Wellington Health & Fitness Club, Woodbridge High School.<\/p>\n

To further support the children and their families, parents will also be given a Tesco voucher with a value of \u00a35 per day, to buy lunch for the children during the days they are at camp.<\/p>\n
