A debut show at the exciting venue.

Hove hosts a model railway exhibition at the British Engineerium for the very first time.

It will be filled with miniature trains on Sunday 28th February between 10am to 4pm.

The event will appeal to young and old fans of scaled down trains. The venue will be packed with model railway exhibits in a range of scales and sizes, representing different eras of railway history. Each exhibit symbolises hours of painstaking work to capture a brief moment in time.

Some will feature traditional steam outlines while others are just as likely to include more modern diesel and electric styles of rolling stock. Sophisticated electronics enable them to be controlled by tablet or smartphone while also offering a higher level of detail.

Organiser Dakota Dibben said,

“We have had some great responses from exhibitors who are keen to bring their layouts to Hove”. “We are certain the event will be hugely enjoyed by enthusiasts and families”. “The exhibition team works hard to create a show that reflects the wide range of skill level and interests that go into creating a model railway”.

Exhibits are coming from across the county and beyond either from clubs or individual enthusiasts. Traders will be offering a wide selection of pre-loved and nearly new models, accessories and spare parts, some of them exclusive.

Regular buses stop nearby and Hove railway station is close by. There is free parking on the streets outside the venue.

Adult admission to the exhibition is £8 while children are £2 and families are £18.
