Family Friendly Escape Rooms Arrive in Brighton
Brighton’s first escape room designed with a playing mode for families opens on Friday 29th July at Paradox Place. Unlike other local escape rooms, this game has been designed with children as young as 8 in mind. It includes two playing modes for either families or experienced escape room players.
The Smuggler’s Secret is based on the local Sussex story of a mysterious miller who was clearly more than he seemed. Players will explore the miller’s cottage to solve all the puzzles and uncover his secrets. Because the puzzles require all sorts of different skills to solve, everyone gets the chance to shine. Whether kids are good with words, numbers, shapes, directions, finding things, noticing things, spotting patterns or thinking outside the box, there will be a puzzle they can solve and feel good about themselves.
Pier Pressure Escape Rooms have designed a number of multi-award winning escape rooms including one which has been ranked the highest in the UK for three years in a row called Loot the Lanes. With The Smuggler’s Secret, they’ve created their first room with a family friendly playing mode but it is every bit as theatrical and exciting as their rooms for adults and teenagers. Testers for the game have included families with young children and groups of adults. All have had a great time.
This fun and atmospheric escape room is a truly immersive adventure the whole family can get carried away in.
