Gerry Cottle’s WOW Circus provides truly brilliant family entertainment; whether you are 6, 16 or 66 you cannot fail to be impressed by the dazzling range of skills and high energy of the performers.
Time flies by as act after act perform outstanding feats of agility, jaw-dropping magical set pieces and superb demonstrations of circus skills, which must have taken a lifetime of practice to perfect. The performers seem to be enjoying themselves as much as the audience too, which really puts you at ease, particularly for some of the more dangerous-looking acts.
There are plenty of costume changes, including one super-fast, very entertaining costume change sequence, and lots of attention to detail to keep all attention focused on the action.
The comic turns provide genuinely funny light relief in between the intensity of the high wire and trapeze acts, and there is an immensely enjoyable dance-off sequence.
For a terrific family outing including fire eating, hat juggling, motorcycle high wire, precision whip cracking and disappearing ladies – take a trip to Gerry Cottle’s WOW Circus this May half term.
