Who Gives A Crap rolls out a monster makeover- with a costume inside

  • Launching The Spooky Edition: frightfully fun toilet paper, now with an emergency mummy costume inside.
  • Who Gives A Crap Spooky Edition toilet rolls are available from 15th September online with 50% of profits donated to its partners to create equal access to clean water and toilets.

Eco-friendly household brand, Who Gives A Crap, is giving Halloween a sustainable twist – launching a limited edition that turns household essentials into spooky showstoppers. The Spooky Edition doesn’t just decorate your bathroom – often the most overlooked room come Halloween – it also includes a free emergency mummy costume roll, made from the brand’s extra strong bamboo toilet paper.

Wrapped in ghoulishly fun designs- think awkward vampires, kooky black cats, monstrous mummies and skeletons- each pack contains rolls that double as party decor and one emergency mummy costume roll for any last-minute costume dilemmas. Whether you’re dressing up a trick-or-treater or salvaging your own spooky look, the emergency mummy costume is a playful, planet-friendlier alternative to plastic-heavy fancy dress.

Moreover, behind the fun lies a real purpose. As with every product in the Who Gives A Crap family, 50% of profits from the Spooky Edition will be donated to non-profit organisations that provide clean water and access to toilets worldwide.

Anna Dominey, UK General Manager at  Who Gives A Crap, said: “Halloween is all about a bit of mischief, so why shouldn’t your bathroom get in on the act? Our Spooky Edition rolls bring the ghouls and giggles home, and if you find yourself without a costume at the last minute, it’s got you covered. Literally. One emergency mummy roll means you can wrap yourself up and head out in style. It’s silly, it’s sustainable and importantly, it helps fund something much bigger: clean water and toilets for those who need them most.”

The Spooky Edition is made from 100% bamboo and is available as:

  • 24- roll box (on WGAC website from 15th September)
  • 6- roll mega box (in Tesco stores and other indie retailers from 29th September)
