Cinemas See High Demand as British Royalty Cast Members Star in Easter’s Biggest Animation, THE KING OF KINGS

Based on renowned writer Charles Dickens The King of Kings delivers a breathtaking portrayal of one of history’s most powerful and enduring stories. With an all-star international cast and awe-inspiring cinematography, the film promises to be a must-see Easter event for audiences of all ages.

Kenneth Branagh (Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, Murder on the Orient Express, Tenet) as Charles Dickens. Pierce Brosnan (GoldenEye, The Thomas Crown Affair, Mamma Mia!, The November Man) as Pontius Pilate. Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Kill Bill: Vol. 2, Gattaca) as Catherine Dickens, Mark Hamill (Star Wars series, Batman: The Animated Series (voice of Joker), The Last Jedi) as King Herod. Ben Kingsley (Gandhi, Schindler’s List, Sexy Beast, Iron Man 3) as High Priest Caiaphas. Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Butler, Black Panther) as Peter.  Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit) as Walter Dickens, Ava Sanger (The King of Kings (debut role) as Mary Dickens. Created by South Korea’s Mofac Animation and is the directorial debut by Seong-ho Jang (Joint Security Area).

The film is set for a nationwide release on Thursday, April 11th, in alignment with its US premiere, with exclusive paid preview screenings available from Monday, April 7th.
