A powerful El Niño developing in late 2026 is expected to bring a wetter, windier, and stormier autumn and early winter to the UK – Grubs is ready with the new BLIZZARD boots.
This is the kind of weather where Grubs boots excel, and these leather boots are set to revolutionise working and casual boots for a generation.
Tough as a Grizzly with a thick 2mm layer of legendary IBERIAN™ leather, lined in layers of super warm SUPERDRI™ fleece supported on Grubs FOOTFRAME™ underfoot technology. The renowned heel support and TOUGH-TOE™ protection make the Blizzard a strong boot for tough conditions.
But that is just the beginning, building on the incredible success of BEARLINE launched last winter these boots are shod with the amazing award-winning BEARPAW™ sole. The company spent years studying the rough skin that covers the fleshy pads of bears and created a sole to match. Taking sheets of Dry-Rubber™ and roughing it up to feel coarse like the bear’s paw they took the pads and placed them individually within the outsole, moulding the rest of the sole around them. This rough and PATENT PENDING design registered pad, grips to wet and icy surfaces like nothing else providing Ultimate Performance & stability in all conditions & on all terrains.
It does not stop there – the inside of the sole unit benefit from ULTRA-BOUNCE™ Grub’s very own blended ETPU which is the same as they use in high end running shoes. ULTRA-BOUNCE is lighter, absorbs more shock and gives back more boost than conventional sports shoes – making them comfortable for longer and putting a spring in every step even after a hard day.
Available in Mahogany or Crazy Horse colourways – sizes 4–13 and look as good on the trail as they do on the street.
Grubs is a family business which has evolved through 9 generations of Fosters and can trace its history back to 1776 making shoes for the local community, specialising in the new sports springing up in Victorian and Edwardian Britain this was the springboard to a global brand.
