What’s My Baby Thinking? – Practical Child Psychology for Modern Parents

Nurture your baby’s emotional development by tuning in to what they’re really telling you.

Early parenthood can be difficult to navigate, especially when you’re struggling to work out what your baby needs – What’s My Baby Thinking? is here to help.

In this research-led book, parenting author Tanith Carey and Clinical Psychologist Dr Angharad Rudkin explain what your baby might be thinking across 75 everyday scenarios, conveniently organised by age from newborn to two years old. From ‘When will my baby stop crying?’ to ‘Why won’t my toddler share?’, this book addresses common parenting concerns, revealing what your baby really needs.

What’s My Baby Thinking? looks in depth at your baby’s brain development, the neuroscience of behaviour, how babies learn, attachment, and communication. Fully illustrated and packed with practical survival guides on tantrums, feeding, sleep development, separation anxiety, and more, this easy-to-use guide is an essential first step to supporting your child’s development and building a loving emotional foundation your baby will carry for life.
