This is the inaugural Oxford Greenbelt Run, taking place in parallel with a vibrant family ‘fun-day’, with proceeds going towards an Oxfordshire explorer-scout volunteering trip to Kenya in July this year.
As well as running, walking or jogging 10km in the Oxford countryside, you, your family and friends can enjoy a buzzing family fun-day to include:
A children’s Africa-themed 1k race Dress up as your favourite safari animal if you like… We’ll be selling animal masks to complete your outfit! Just £2 to enter on the day. The stampede starts at 12.30!
A bake off Small prizes up for grabs and just £1 to enter our Botley bake-off… Cakes and bakes with an Africa theme especially welcome!
Local shows Look out for the line-up on the day – we’re talking to loads of groups including choirs, bands and dancers!
Food stalls Enjoy something tasty from the BBQ or our cafe, while the kids sneak a treat to two at the tuck shop!
- Bar Whether you want a quick drink to wash your burger down or settle in for the day with a bottle of wine, Bob’s bar is the place for you!
Games and competitions Try your luck with some classic fun-day activities in the games tent, or just boing the day away on the bouncy castle!
Commercial stalls Shop ’til you drop… See the Stallholders page for businesses and activities booked so far, as well as a link to a stallholders’ booking form if you’d like a space in our marketplace.
