A stunning performance by Coulsdon star students

YOUNG talent from a performing arts schools across the country came together In London’s West End this month to perform songs from Beauty and the Beast to Les Misérables.

Students from from Stagecoach Performing Arts Coulsdon, showcased their talents alongside fellow students in the largest independent theatre in the West End, Shaftesbury Theatre. Performing ‘Change It’ from 9 to 5, the students received applause from a crowded auditorium.

Stagecoach Performing Arts Principal, Zoe McCready says: ‘Watching the children from Coulsdon perform was a wonderful moment. Many of them dream of a career in the West End, so to get the opportunity to perform there at the weekend was magical.’

‘At Stagecoach, we believe in the potential of every child and performances like these inspire the children to be confident and unleash their talents, not just in performance, but in the wider world. I have absolutely no doubt that the children that performed on Saturday will go on to great and glorious things, both onstage and off.’

Stagecoach Performing Arts Coulsdon are part of a network of more than 600 part-time Schools Worldwide. Early Stage classes are available for children aged 4 to 6 and Main Stages classes take place for 6 to 18 year olds.
