The highly anticipated Bromley Old Town Hall officially launched on Wednesday night, with a ribbon cutting ceremony from Bromley Mayor Mike Botting and a DJ set from Woody Cook, son of Bromley legend Fatboy Slim.

The iconic Grade II listing has been brought back to life and is now a multi-use destination for Bromley residents, visitors and city goers, home to Bromley’s first and only boutique hotel, an all-day dining restaurant and a flexible office space.

The launch celebrates the end of the major renovation of Bromley Old Town Hall following its addition to the Heritage at Risk register in 2009, bringing a new lease of life to the much-loved historical building and surrounding area. Steeped in history, the Old Town Hall officially opened in 1907, and has since played host to the wedding of David Bowie, the local seat of government, and even provided shelter in the event of a nuclear fallout during World War II. Its foundations were laid in 1906 and it was extended multiple times before sadly becoming vacant. The re-opening of Bromley Old Town Hall signals a reinvigoration of the building’s spirit and a renewal of its purpose.

Bromley Old Town Hall is now home to:

  • Clockwise, a high-quality flexible workspace operation of over 800 private desks, with a new club space, reception area and artisan café, operated by Two Hands.
  • Brama, a boutique, 4-star hotel with 22 rooms in a newly constructed section of the building.
  • Dorothy & Marshall, a modern British restaurant with 60 covers located in the historic former courthouse, which has been carefully restored to its former glory.

From design to delivery, service to sustainability, every detail has been considered in the development, with the building’s original breathtaking art deco design still runs throughout.

Bromley Old Town Hall is perfectly positioned for locals, visitors and city workers alike, in the heart of Greater London’s most up-and-coming destination, Bromley was recently named the best area of London to live in.* The hub benefits from close proximity to local amenities such as The Glades shopping centre and Bromley South and North train stations, which offer connection to central London within as little as 16 minutes.
