Hove Stagecoach students blow away 450-strong audience in Hastings

Stagecoach Performing Arts Hove students came together with performers from across the UK last weekend to showcase a medley of musical hits inside Hasting’s home of performance, the White Rock Theatre.

Pupils from Hove showcased their singing, dancing and acting skills in the special event on Sunday 14 May, with a total of 137 students taking the stage.  The theatre was filled with music from award winning hits, including songs from The Wedding Singer.

Since its establishment in 1927, the White Rock Theatre has hosted an array of stars in the 1,066 seated venue, including Russell Brand, Geri Halliwell and Jools Holland.

Rebecca Manning, Principal of Stagecoach Hove says: ‘I’m so happy that our pupils had the opportunity to perform live in front of an audience of 450 in such a fabulous venue.

‘It’s a great chance for students to grow their confidence and skills as well as have fun getting involved!’

Stagecoach Performing Arts Hove is part of a network of more than 700 part-time Schools Worldwide. Early Stages classes are available for children aged 4 to 6 and Main Stages classes take place for 6 to 18-year-olds.
